How to Take Care of Your Vehicle Wrap (So It Lasts for Years)

How long a premium wrap lasts depends almost entirely on how you treat it. Applicable material and workmanship coverage varies by product, surface, placement, installation conditions, location, and exposure, but day-to-day care is the biggest variable you control.

The big three: do these things

  1. Hand-wash or touchless car wash only, never brush washes.
  2. Park in shade or a garage whenever possible.
  3. Use wrap-safe wash soap (no waxes, no abrasives).

The big three: avoid these things

  1. High-pressure power washing within 6 inches of any seam or edge.
  2. Gas spills, bird droppings, and bug splatter left on for more than a day.
  3. Automatic brush washes: even "soft cloth" ones can lift edges.

Bird droppings and bug acids are the silent wrap killers. Carry a pack of vinyl-safe wipes and clean them off ASAP.

Once-a-year touchups

Schedule a yearly inspection with us and we will check the edges, post-heat any tabs that are starting to lift, and refresh any spots that took damage. It is usually a short appointment and keeps the warranty in good standing.
