Where they started.

Mango & Maize Street Kitchen was a brand-new Latin-fusion concept entering one of the most crowded food scenes in Los Angeles. The founders had a strong menu but a bare, secondhand truck that looked identical to a dozen others at every lot and festival. With no storefront, the truck itself had to carry the entire brand: it needed to stop foot traffic from across a parking lot, communicate the cuisine instantly, make the menu legible from the order window line, and give hungry customers an easy way to follow and book the truck. A weak launch look risked getting lost before word of mouth could build.

What we built.

We developed a vibrant, appetite-driving full wrap built around the concept's signature colors and hand-illustrated ingredients, designed to read clearly from 50 feet and photograph beautifully for social sharing. The service side integrated a clean, high-contrast menu zone, prominent social handles, and a QR code for catering bookings. We printed on certified cast vinyl with a food-service-appropriate finish and laminate for washdown durability and grease resistance, then wrapped the full body, hood, and serving window surround. Bright, Instagram-friendly branding was intentional, engineering the truck to become its own marketing channel at every stop.

The results

  • Truck drew lines and crowd photos at its first several events, seeding organic social reach
  • Integrated menu and QR graphics reduced order-window confusion and spurred catering inquiries
  • Instantly recognizable look helped the brand get re-booked at multiple lots and festivals
  • Durable food-service laminate held up to daily washdowns and grease exposure without fading
“People take pictures of the truck before they even order. The wrap gave a brand-new business the presence of one that's been around for years.”
