Trade Show Booth Program That Standardized a National Exhibit Presence
An industrial manufacturer replaced per-show reprints of mismatched pop-up graphics with one standardized trade show display graphics program, printed and installed on the modular exhibit its exhibit house already supplied, for a consistent premium presence across a full national show calendar.

Where they started.
Coastway Industrial Systems attended eight to ten trade shows a year, but its booth graphics were a liability. Messaging changed from event to event, graphics were re-purchased for nearly every show, panels arrived scuffed or mis-sized for the display, and nothing matched the brand standards on the website or sales collateral. At a major San Diego industry expo, their booth read as an afterthought next to competitors, and leadership worried Coastway looked smaller and less capable than it actually was. Their exhibit house had already supplied a modular display that ran as an inline or an island; what Coastway needed was one graphics system, printed and installed to fit it, that stayed consistent at every show.
What we built.
We started with the exhibit house's drawings for Coastway's existing modular display, cataloging every graphic-bearing panel, counter face, and header across the inline and island configurations so one design system could be sized for all of them. Our designers built a bold, benefit-led graphic package with a distance-legible headline, a consistent color and type system, and interchangeable product-feature panels so Coastway could swap messaging between shows without reprinting the whole set. We printed on premium display-grade substrates for a crisp, high-end finish under show lighting, labeled every panel to its position on the display, and installed the full graphics package on the exhibit at their San Diego kickoff show within the move-in window. Between shows, only the panels that change get reprinted.
The results
- One standardized graphics package now covers the entire national show calendar, ending full per-show reprints
- Interchangeable feature panels let Coastway swap messaging between shows while the core brand graphics stay put
- Graphics were sized to the client's existing modular display in both inline and island configurations
- Consistent premium presence helped Coastway hold its own against far larger competitors
“We used to reprint the whole booth every season and hope it matched. Now the graphics go up on the display we already own, they look the same at every show, and we look like the biggest name on the floor.”
